About Dinah Beydoun

Dinah Beydoun Elmars writes from the crossroads, where South African soil meets Lebanese stone, where memory is measured in cardamom and stories rise with the scent of warm bread.

A former educator and psychologist, she spent over thirty years listening for the truths between words. Now based in Padova, Italy, she is in a season of joyful renewal. She spends her days learning Italian, wandering cobbled streets, and writing stories that feed the soul.

She is a mother to two extraordinary sons in London, her greatest joy and strength. Her work is a gift to them, and to the grandchildren she she hopes to know.

She is a reader, a daydreamer, a keeper of recipes and quiet rebellions.

Through Fabled Feasts, her literary series blending memoir, myth, and Levantine cuisine, she preserves what refuses to be forgotten.

She believes every dish is a story. And every story, a way home.
